HMF Engineering has capabilities of manufacturing light to medium fabrication in all metals.
The Factory and Plant offer a comprehensive range of applications from design to manufacture with a full complement of welding, drilling and production equipment. The Factory has an 8m high bay with a 5 tonne lifting capacity for any large job.

Stainless steel fabrication
At HMF Engineering in Hamilton, as well as metal fabrication we are also specialists in stainless steel fabrication.
With qualified tradesmen we have the ability to take on a large number of jobs that require stainless steel fabrication. |
Guillotines
At HMF Engineering in Hamilton, we have two Guillotines.
Our larger guillotine has a bed length of 3m and can cut up to 6mm steel.
Our small guillotine has a bed length of 2.4mm and is used for light gauge material.

CNC Press Braking
At HMF Engineering in Hamilton, we also have 2 x CNC break presses capable of folding up to 6mm plate. The bed length on our larger break press is 3m and the bed length on our smaller break press is 2m.

CNC Punch Press
At HMF Engineering in Hamilton, one of our specialised pieces of machinery is our CNC punch press. This is a 60 tonne punch press which enables us to punch material up to 16mm thick.
It is the only Punch Press of its type in New Zealand.
Our CNC Punch Press can punch from 0.4mm to 16mm Mild Steel and 0.4mm to 8mm Stainless Steel also Aluminium & Plastic

Electrical Cabinets
At HMF Engineering in Hamilton, one of the products that we manufacture are electrical cabinets.
Most of the electrical cabinets that we produce are custom made to our customers’ requirements.
We fabricate electrical cabinets from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel. |
Welding Qualifications
At HMF Engineering in Hamilton, we have highly skilled staff including qualified welding tradesmen.
Our welding qualifications include 4703 and 4711.
When it comes to welding we have all the equipment and staff to do a quality welding job.
